Reflective Essay
My favorite part of this class was how much we went outside and engaged in hands on learing. Not only did I learn from lectures, but also by planting foods and help building a hoophouse. We also viewed the very informative movie Food, Inc. During this we answered questions that really forced us to think, and afterwards wrote letters to the FDA and USDA Commissioners to voice our concerns about the food industries. Below is the link for the letter I wrote to the FDA Commissioner along with pictures of me learnin' in this class throughout the semester.
